Private Boarding
We provide private, in-home boarding. NO more crates or concrete. When you are away on vacation, business, or just anywhere the last thing you need to worry about is your pet being uncomfortable! All dogs are kept in my actual home 100% of the time- free to roam and sleep with me at night.... Yes, in my bed! Due to lack of space (I only take on 2 dogs at a time) scheduling in advance is very important to insure you get a spot. All dogs must pass an aggression test. I will personally come and assess your dog at no cost to you to make sure they are not animal aggressive before I will welcome them into my home to stay. Cats are watched in their own home due to the fact that they tend to be pretty darn catty sometimes!
Walking
People have their dogs walked for many reasons... daily walks just for potty break purposes, daily walks for exercise, getting your new pet on a schedule, and socialization time with a new 'non-parent'. Well, we do the walking for all of the above! Just call and ask. NO unreasonable request will be turned down!
Walks are usually scheduled in increments of 10 min starting at 10, 20, or 30 minutes. They are by availability and appointment only. Call to set-up your pet's walk today!
Grooming
Our certified dog groomer, Kristin, has over 8 years experience at a major grooming chain. She provides everything from basic baths to full grooms. All baths and grooms include ear cleaning, nail clipping, and a bandana. Doggies leave here lookin spiffy and feeling confident bout their new do! Oh... and we pick up and drop off for FREE (locally, of course) NO more worrying about dropping off your pet before work and rushing to pick-up before the groomer closes. We work around your schedule. Overnight stays can be arranged for an additional $15 for your convenience.
Training
Training is available by request and a plan can be discussed to best suit your wants/goals for your pet. Pricing varies depending on specific needs or wants.
Pet Taxi
We provide transportation for your animal anywhere you need them to go... vet, pet store, Grandma's house, etc. if you yourself are unavailable for any reason.
Doggie Park Fieldtrip
Does your dog deserve a day out once in awhile? Your dog(s) will be picked up and brought along on a 2 hour trip to the local dog park (weather permitting). Each dog is assessed individually to make sure they are not the least bit dog-aggressive first before they are considered for this trip. This trip is normally once a week but private arrangements can be made to suit your schedule.
Home-made Raw Food Delivery
Here at Paw 'n Hand we make our own home-made raw food mixtures. For those of you who do not know the MAJOR health benefits of raw feeding please contact us for free literature on the subject. For more information and a menu please contact us and we'll send you a brochure in the mail!
